Hugbeat – sinnesstimulierendes Musik- und Klanggerät für Henric und Lille Lise
Hugbeat is a sensory-stimulating music device developed to create calm, safety, and pleasant stimulation through sound and heartbeat rhythms. The unit is placed inside the dementia dolls Henric and Little Lise, so that when you hug Henric and Little Lise, you can both feel the soothing heartbeat and listen to carefully selected sensory sounds and music.
Hugbeat offers different types of stimulation for both high and low arousal states. You can choose between several soundscapes, including:
- Soothing heartbeat sound
- White noise in the form of ocean waves.
- Nature sounds from a spring day in the forest with birdsong and calm surroundings.
- Relaxation music to help you unwind or support rest and sleep.
The volume can be adjusted both directly on Hugbeat and via the included remote control. It is also possible to switch between audio tracks both on the device itself and on the remote. In addition, you can set how long Hugbeat should play before it automatically enters sleep mode to conserve battery power.
Hugbeat is charged using a standard USB-C cable. A cable is included, but a power adapter is not included.
When Hugbeat is placed inside Henric or Little Lise, the sound stimulation is combined with the dolls’ tactile stimulation and weight, creating a holistic experience of closeness, sensory engagement, and calm. The combination of tactile stimulation, weight, and soothing sounds makes Hugbeat a valuable supplement in work focused on well-being, sensory shielding, relaxation, and sensory regulation.
- Tactile stimulation
- Weight, which contributes to calmness and a sense of safety.
- Sensory sounds and music.
- Soothing heartbeat sound during a hug.
It creates an overall sensory experience that can support relaxation, presence, and well-being.
