Stimulation – Why choose Bent?

Since 2018 Big Bent has created calm and presence for people of all ages – children, adults and older people – regardless of their life situation. Many people experience loneliness, inner restlessness, stress or anxiety in everyday life, and this is where Bent makes a noticeable difference. He is the comforting companion that gives the feeling of a hug – without physical contact – and helps reduce both touch deprivation and insecurity.

Bent’s calming weight

Big Bent has a special weight and shape that have a calming effect on the body and nervous system. The deep pressure sensation stimulates the proprioceptive sense — the body’s ability to register pressure and warmth — which can help improve focus, concentration and body awareness. The weight in Bent’s arms helps lower the shoulders and creates a feeling of security, whether you are sitting or lying down with him.

When Bent’s pressure is felt by the body, it stimulates the release of oxytocin, also known as the “hug hormone”. This can contribute to, among other things, reduced stress, greater calm and better sleep. Bent can also help ease both mental and physical restlessness during the day.
