A soothing hug

Stimulation

The calming pressure and soft seating comfort of our recliner chair Lone bring peace and balance to an overstimulated body. Lone has long arms with weight evenly distributed throughout, providing a positive effect on the child’s nervous system. The recliner chair Lone is used in situations where the child needs to withdraw and take a timeout – often in sensory rooms in kindergartens, early education settings, or similar environments where children are present.

Weight

Each arm can be placed over the child to provide an even and gentle pressure on the body. Each arm weighs approximately 2 kg and offers sensory stimulation to the child’s proprioceptive system (muscle and joint sense). Depending on the child’s size and needs, one or both arms can be used to tailor the experience in the best possible way. Ideal for use in a Snoezelen or sensory room for children, and should only be used as a relaxation chair in a quiet environment.

Ease of use

The recliner chair is extremely easy to clean and maintain. It can be wiped with a damp cloth and disinfectant soap, ensuring a hygienic experience. Lone should be refilled from time to time with fresh EPS beads. We recommend refilling Lone 1–2 times a year, depending on how frequently she is used.

Testimonial:

We use Lone several times a day with some of the children in our institution. They always find calm when sitting in it, and it’s easy to clean quickly if an accident happens.
