Stimulation:

Comfort and calm with Manta – Manta is designed to create relaxation, presence, and a sense of security in everyday life – especially for people with dementia and children who need extra sensory support for their nervous system.
The innovative weighted blanket is designed to be placed over the stomach and chest, where the enveloping “wings” provide a pleasant, deep-pressure sensation. The soft, sensory-stimulating surface activates the sense of touch and contributes to a relaxed and secure body feeling.

Weight:

When the body is exposed to weight, it responds by releasing the hormone oxytocin, known as the body’s own “love” hormone. The body can respond to both light and deep pressure, which is why we offer two different variants.
It is important to note that anyone using the blanket must always be able to remove it by themselves. If you are unsure whether Manta is suitable for your loved one, consider whether they have the strength to remove it independently. Feel free to ask us for advice – or consult a professional.

Ease of use:

Easy to use, simple to wash – If you use Manta in environments where it may get dirty, it can be put in the washing machine, making it a practical choice for busy everyday life!

Testimonial:

The large Manta fits perfectly for our residents who need a break during the day. We tilt them back in their wheelchair, and they relax, find calm, and enjoy touching the soft fabric.
