Description
Tactile stimulation:
The Pilo weighted blanket provides an even, gentle pressure on the shoulders and along the sides of the body, creating calm and comfort during both sleep and seated situations. In addition to the well-balanced weight distribution, Pilo Large also offers tactile stimulation thanks to its soft, pleasant material and the small “teething” textures that can be touched and fiddled with.
Weight
When the body is exposed to weight, something magical happens. The body releases its own stress-relieving hormone, oxytocin, which helps it relax. The weight itself calms the nervous system, making it easier and faster to fall asleep.
Ease of use
Use Pilo as a blanket placed over the stomach and chest, provided there are no breathing difficulties. It is a shorter version of a weighted duvet, reducing the feeling of full enclosure. There is air along the sides, and the flippers rest comfortably on the shoulders. Pilo is the friendly walrus that helps bring calm at bedtime. Always read the instructions included with Pilo. It can be placed directly in the washing machine and should be air-dried after washing.
